What we do
Tax work for people with real, complicated lives
Most returns aren't just a T4. Rental income, a side business, a first year in Canada, tuition to carry forward — these are the situations where filing carelessly costs the most.
Personal returns
T4s, investments, rental income, medical expenses and every credit you're entitled to claim.
Self-employed
Business income and expenses, home office, vehicle claims and CPP contributions sorted out.
Small business
Corporate returns, GST/HST filings and year-end preparation for owner-managed companies.
Newcomers to Canada
First-year returns, residency dates, foreign income reporting and benefit applications.
Students
Tuition credits, moving expenses and carry-forwards tracked so nothing goes to waste.
Rideshare & delivery
Uber, Lyft and delivery income with mileage, GST/HST registration and expense tracking.
Truck drivers
Meal and lodging claims, TL2 forms and long-haul rules applied correctly.
Bookkeeping
Monthly or annual bookkeeping so your year-end isn't a shoebox of receipts in March.
CRA reviews
Review letters, adjustment requests and prior-year corrections handled on your behalf.
How it works
Three steps, start to filed
Send your documents
Fill in the form below and we'll send you a secure upload link plus a short list of what we need for your situation. Photos of paper slips are fine.
We prepare and review
Your return is prepared, then checked against last year's filing. If something looks off or a receipt is missing, we ask before we file — never after.
You approve, we file
You get a summary of the result and a copy for your records. Once you sign off, it's filed electronically and you receive CRA confirmation.
Clients who came back, and sent people
Most of our work arrives by referral from someone we filed for last year. That's the measure we actually pay attention to.

About Latimer Tax Services
A small practice, on purpose
Latimer Tax Services Inc. is a Langley-based tax preparation practice serving individuals and small businesses across Canada. We took on tax work because filing season is the one time of year most people are asked to make consequential financial decisions with no help at all.
The practice is deliberately small. You deal with the same person from your first email through to filing, and that person knows what was on your return last year.
-
Plain answers
You'll get an explanation of why a number is what it is, in language that doesn't require a tax background.
-
Priced before we start
A flat quote up front based on your situation. No hourly meter, no invoice that surprises you in April.
-
Careful with your documents
Files move through a secure upload link, not email attachments, and are retained only as long as required.
-
Available after April
Tax questions don't stop when filing season ends. Neither do we — reach out any month of the year.
Start your return
Tell us a little about your situation and we'll reply with a quote and a document list, usually the same day.
Where we are
Based in Langley, BC, filing for clients across Canada.
In-person appointments in the Fraser Valley by arrangement. Most clients never need to come in.
